The bulk excavation of the site is now complete, this will form our basement level.
Whilst excavating we unearthed the previously known historical rail cutting which dates back to 1898, this ran though the site until the 1950’s, at which point it was back filled and the site was then redeveloped.

Works are progressing to complete the structural slab to the basement prior to the reinforced concrete walls to the perimeter.

Attenuation Tank going in, this will eventually be buried under the car park area.

The 3 stages of the perimeter reinforced concrete wall can be seen in this photo. Steel reinforcement has been installed to the left of the photo before the temporary support framework is erected prior to the concrete pour on the right of the photo. Finally moving back across to the left, the finished concrete wall lining can be seen.

The rain might have fallen but this hasn’t held up progress to install the steel reinforcement for the remaining ground floor section, whilst in the distance the main steel frame has commenced.
