We have built 85 new stores with numbers 86 to 94 on site, equivalent to more than 5.4 million square feet of storage. The buildings we construct are very often the customer's first impression of self storage. It is important for us to get it right first time and the Construction Team strive to ensure good standards of design and workmanship are achieved in every store. We are also committed to sustainable construction practices.
The strong relationship with our consultants, contractors, specialist trade contractors and suppliers built up over 20 years is the key to our success. The preferred contractor list is relatively static although the membership is reviewed periodically by the Construction Team.
