What has been your career path to date?
I’ve worked in various fields from the Tourism sector in South Africa to teaching English as a 2nd language in Turkey, to experiencing the London nightlife in the Hospitality industry, to Self Storage in Dundee where I am currently based.
What has been your greatest career achievement to date?
Being selected for a growth and development programme called “Inspire” offered by the company to those who plan on moving forward within the company.
What’s most important to you in your career and why?
Progressing to the next level within a specific timeframe is most important to me. Learning a new set of skills and applying it to the role boosts my self confidence and allows room for promotion.
Tell us what benefits you value the most and why?
The company sends you on quarterly courses allowing you to travel to various cities to meet and rub shoulders with fellow colleagues and Managers.
What is it that makes Big Yellow/Armadillo a great place to work?
Having a positive relationship working with a supportive Manager that is constantly present in coaching you and focused on your training and development within the company.
How do you manage a positive work life/balance?
By implementing a positive mindset in my daily routine. Being kind and mindful to those around me, especially our customers and by ensuring I maintain a healthy, active lifestyle.
